GenerationBIG!

GenerationBIG is a collaborative initiative of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound and Senior Services whose goal is to match elementary schoolchildren with adult mentors 55 and over who can provide emotional support, personal attention and positive role models.

What We Do

GenerationBIG, expands on the School-Based Mentoring Program of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound by partnering with Senior Services to match schoolchildren with adults 55 and older. The mentors and children will meet one hour a week during the school year to go over the students' schoolwork and ensure that the children have caring adults in their lives. Mentors get together monthly to share experiences and advice with each other.

Mentors Needed: These four elementary schools need 20 GenerationBIG mentors each:

Ballard: Adams Elementary 6110 28 AV NW. Seattle, WA 98107
